LaythTech announced a strategic product development partnership with Dhahran Techno Valley (DTV) to accelerate the development, prototyping, validation, and commercialization of advanced technologies within Saudi Arabia.
The collaboration is designed to support Layth Technology's mission of transforming innovative concepts into commercially viable products and locally developed technologies that contribute to the Kingdom's industrial growth and technology localization objectives under Vision 2030.
Through DTV's innovation and product development ecosystem, Layth Technology will gain access to specialized engineering, prototyping, testing, and product realization capabilities to support the development of future solutions in satellite systems, space-enabled IoT, advanced electronics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and advanced manufacturing.
A key objective of the partnership is to establish a structured pathway from concept development to market deployment. The collaboration will focus on reducing technology development risks, accelerating product readiness, and enabling the commercialization of technologies that address strategic opportunities across both government and commercial sectors.
The partnership also reflects the growing evolution of Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province as a center for innovation, advanced manufacturing, and emerging technologies. While the region has long been recognized for its global leadership in the energy sector, it is increasingly expanding into high-value industries including aerospace, satellite communications, artificial intelligence, autonomous systems, and advanced industrial technologies. Supported by world-class institutions, industrial infrastructure, and a growing innovation ecosystem, the Eastern Province is uniquely positioned to play a leading role in Saudi Arabia's transition toward a knowledge-based economy. Through this collaboration, LaythTech and Dhahran Techno Valley aim to contribute to the development of a sustainable deep-technology ecosystem that supports commercialization, technology localization, and the growth of future industries within the Kingdom.
The partnership also supports LaythTech's long-term vision to develop and localize critical space and advanced technology capabilities within Saudi Arabia. Initial areas of cooperation include satellite subsystem development, electronics integration, hardware prototyping, product validation, manufacturing readiness, and future commercialization initiatives that can support the growth of a domestic high-technology industry.
In addition to product development, the collaboration will facilitate engagement with researchers, engineers, entrepreneurs, and industrial partners to strengthen Saudi Arabia's innovation ecosystem and create opportunities for knowledge transfer, technical capacity building, and local talent development.
"Commercialization is the bridge between innovation and economic impact," said Abdulaziz Alsaeed, Founder and CEO of LaythTech. "Our collaboration with Dhahran Techno Valley provides the capabilities and ecosystem required to transform advanced technology concepts into deployable products, accelerate technology localization, and support the growth of Saudi Arabia's space and deep-technology sectors. We believe the Eastern Province is uniquely positioned to become a leading hub for space and advanced technology development, building on its strong industrial foundation while expanding into new sectors that will shape the Kingdom's future economy."
As the partnership progresses, LaythTech and Dhahran Techno Valley will continue to explore opportunities to develop innovative products, support local manufacturing capabilities, strengthen intellectual property creation, and accelerate the commercialization of technologies designed and built within the Kingdom.
